Description of Practice:
Dr. Nancy Colfer combines her knowledge of muscle therapies and human physiology with skilled chiropractic spinal manipulation to bring relief from pain and restore balance to the body. She specializes in problems related to the neuromusculoskeletal system including chronic conditions such as headache, neck and low back pain, as well as acute and chronic soft tissue injuries due to automobile accidents, on-the-job or other types of personal injury.
Specific techniques and methods used include Diversified chiropractic spinal manipulation, CranioSacral Technique, Flexion/Distraction spinal manipulation, Trigger Point Therapy, electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound therapy, hot or cold packs, and rehabilitative exercise instruction. Since moving to a larger facility two years ago, she has expanded her services to include hour-long sessions of myofascial therapy and hour-long therapeutic rehabilitative exercise sessions by skilled staff (LMTs and fitness specialist). These services are often billable to insurance, under referral from Dr. Colfer.
Insurance assignment is accepted, and Dr. Colfer is a panel provider for most managed care or PPO plans. Friendly staff will verify benefits before treatment begins and, as a service to patents, will handle all insurance billing.
A no-charge “get acquainted” visit is available by appointment.
