Description of Practice:
Pain Consultants of Oregon provides an intervention-based resource for the treatment of chronic pain. Although we regularly recommend care for psychological aspects of a patient’s pain, we do not provide these services. Patient care begins with a physical evaluation and review of history, diagnostic studies. Based on this evaluation, recommendations are mare regarding the appropriateness of pain management interventions. Therapies include:
- Spinal diagnostics
- Implantable drug delivery systems
- Spinal Cord and peripheral Stimulators
- Spinal therapeutic procedures (injections, radio frequency block)
- Vertebroplasty
- Neurolysis and spinal infusions for cancer pain
- End of life symptom management in hospital or in foster home settings
All patients need a referral form their primary care provider.
