Description of Practice:
I have 30 years experience practicing Oriental medicine including acupuncture, acupressure/tuina, Chinese herbology and consulting on diet, movement (exercise, qigong), and ergonomics with a focus on empowering patients to participate in their own healing process.  Treatments utilize a range of therapeutic approaches from traditional Chinese medicine, Japanese acupuncture and modern myofascial meridian acupuncture in a peaceful, healing environment.  In my clinical experience, I have found that the most profound healing occurs from really hearing what patients need and helping to meet those needs.  Conditions treated include pain disorders, injuries and internal medicine, with specialties in low back pain, headaches, elbow pain, sinus conditions, pediatrics and the treatment of sensitive patients.

A moderate number of insurance companies cover acupuncture.  My office bills insurance and I am a member of most managed care panels.  Patients do not need a referral except for Workers Compensation.
