Description of practice:
I practice within a multidisciplinary pain center with excellent practitioner communication and emphasis on holistic care planning for patients. Physical therapy is performed with an emphasis on returning normal movement patterns and muscle control to reintegrate functional movement without increasing pain symptoms. To accomplish this we integrate manual therapy, appropriate modalities and a gym designed specifically for pain patient populations with appropriate equipment to increase function and strength without aggravating baseline symptoms.
